Long-time tail in an electric conduction system
نویسنده
چکیده
The long-time behavior of the velocity autocorrelation function in a classical twodimensional electric conduction system is studied by the molecular dynamics simulation. In equilibrium, the effect of coexistence of many-body interactions and a random potential is investigated. A crossover from a positive tail proportional to t, to a negative tail proportional to −t is observed as the strength of the random potential increases. In nonequilibrium, the positive tail is enhanced whereas the negative tail appears at earlier times as an electric field increases.

Increasing electric vehicles usage, as a promising solution for environmental issues, might have unexpected implications, since it entails some changes in different sectors and scales in energy system. In this respect, this research aims at investigating the long-term impacts of electric vehicles deployment on Iran's energy system. Accordingly, Iran's energy system was analyzed by LEAP model in...
متن کاملEstimation of the Strength of the Time-dependent Heat Source using Temperature Distribution at a Point in a Three Layer System
In this paper, the conjugate gradient method coupled with adjoint problem is used in order to solve the inverse heat conduction problem and estimation of the strength of the time- dependent heat source using the temperature distribution at a point in a three layer system. Also, the effect of noisy data on final solution is studied. The numerical solution of the governing equations is obtained b...
متن کاملA Probabilistic Three-Phase Time Domain Electric Arc Furnace Model based on analytical method
An electric arc furnace (EAF) is known as nonlinear and time variant load that causes power quality (PQ) problems such as, current, voltage and current harmonics, voltage flicker, frequency changes in power system. One of the most important problems to study the EAF behavior is the choice of a suitable model for this load. Hence, in this paper, a probabilistic three-phase model is proposed base...
متن کاملCentral delay of the laser-activated rat tail-flick reflex.
The latency of the heat-activated rat tail-flick (TF) reflex is dependent upon 4 variables, none of which has previously been determined: activation of cutaneous nociceptors (TN); afferent conduction to the dorsal horn (TA); conduction within the central nervous system (CNS) (central delay); and conduction from the ventral horn (VH) to, and activation of, tail muscles (TE). Using a CO2 infrared...
متن کاملDetermination of Composite System Adequacy Equivalents Using a Reduction Technique: a Case Study on a Regional Electric Company
Reliability evaluation of a large-scale composite power system faces to numerous events/outage and consequently imposes an extensive burden of calculations. In order to simplify the problem, determination of an equivalent system for large-scale power system is inevitable. This paper proposes a framework as reduction technique to separate a composite power system to three areas: external area, o...
